Have you ever dreamed about writing a children’s book? Perhaps you don’t know where to start or maybe you’ve written one but don’t know what to do next. Whether you’ve been writing for years or just thinking about it, we have the perfect event to inspire you to turn your dream into reality.
With a wealth of experience, success and accolades between them, we’re delighted that children’s authors Emma Read and Sophie Kirtley will be offering advice and sharing tips along with their own road to publication in a jam-packed hour hosted by Storytale Director and author Kate Frost live on Facebook.
The event is free and there will be the opportunity to ask Emma and Sophie questions throughout.
- Emma Read is the author of young middle grade fiction Milton the Mighty and Milton the Megastar published by Chicken House.
- Sophie Kirtley is the author of The Wild Way Home and The Way to Impossible Island, adventure stories for 9-12 year olds both published by Bloomsbury.
In conjunction with this event, we’re delighted to have teamed up with Literature Works to offer four free online advice surgeries. Taking place on Monday 25th October and Monday 1st November (at 12 and 2pm) there’s an opportunity to get advice and support about a literature idea or project you may have. Booking is free but essential. Please click here for more information and to book your place.
