as they discuss the different ways of pursuing a career in publishing, before having the opportunity to ask them your burning questions. This event is suited to anyone interested in publishing, but is particularly aimed at 16 – 25 year olds (although any age group is welcome), and those of you looking for a career change.
The Society of Young Publishers is a volunteer-run organisation supporting junior and aspiring publishing professionals across the UK and Ireland. They are open to anyone, of any age, interested in publishing or a related trade – or who is hoping to be soon. Run by a team of dedicated volunteers, their aim is to assist, inform and encourage anyone trying to break into the industry or progress within it. The South West branch is the newest branch of the SYP, having officially opened in 2018. They are the sixth regional branch, alongside London, Oxford, North, Scotland and Ireland.
